Studio

One of the many benefits of membership in the London Potters Guild is access to our studio. Our studio is equipped with:

  • Two working rooms: a fully equipped teaching studio and a members studio, which members can use without being interrupted by classes
  • Eleven electric wheels and one treadle wheel
  • Two computer controlled electric kilns
  • A large selection of dependable, vibrant, cone 6 studio glazes
  • A slab roller
  • A pugmill for studio clay
  • A large workspace for hand building
  • Space to store work in progress
  • Banding wheels
  • Batts and wareboards
  • A wide selection of hand tools
  • Cubby holes for personal storage
  • Access to the Studio Technician 5 scheduled hours per week for help and training
  • Extruder
  • Library and magazine subscriptions
  • Wheelchair accessible
  • Fully stocked glaze kitchen and access to studio glazes (cone 6)

Our studio is located at the East London Artisan's Centre, 1731 Churchill Avenue in London (map).

Our studio offers electric wheels for throwing. The large studio space offer tables for hand building and a slab roller. A seperate space is available for the classes.
Numeros shelves are available for you to dry your work. Cone 6 studio glazes are formulated for your use.
The kiln room offers two electric kilns and a bench grinder, plus more storage. A loaded fired kiln with studio and class works.
