Studio

One of the many benefits of membership in the London Potters Guild is access to our studio. In September 2009, we moved into the new, state-of-the-art London Clay Art Centre. Our studio is equipped with:

  • A fully equipped teaching studio and a members studio, which members can use without being interrupted by classes
  • Eleven electric wheels and one treadle wheel
  • Two computer controlled electric kilns
  • A large selection of dependable, vibrant, cone 6 studio glazes
  • A slab roller
  • A pugmill for studio clay
  • A large workspace for hand building
  • Space to store work in progress
  • Banding wheels
  • Batts and wareboards
  • A wide selection of hand tools
  • Cubby holes for personal storage
  • Access to the Studio Technician 5 scheduled hours per week for help and training
  • Extruder
  • Library and magazine subscriptions
  • Wheelchair accessible
  • Fully stocked glaze kitchen and access to studio glazes (cone 6)
  • Lots of knowledgeable, friendly members!
  • Access to retail space
  • Access to kitchenette

Our studio is located at the London Clay Art Centre, 664 Dundas Street, accessible by the Dundas bus line.
